What if my printing paper stuck at the back of my printer?

When you can’t get to the paper jam from the loading tray it usually needs to be removed via either a rear access door or a two-sided printing accessory – depending on what type of printer you have:
Rear access door:
- Check the panel for a button or tab, and unlock or release it to remove the panel.
- Carefully remove the jammed pieces of paper.
- Check for scraps of ripped paper that may hinder the movement of the carriage.
- Put the panel back on and make sure it’s secure.
Two-sided printing accessory:
- To remove the module, you’ll need to press both release buttons at the same time.
- Once you have access, carefully remove the jammed pieces of paper.
- Check for scraps of ripped paper that may hinder the movement of the carriage.
- Put the module back into place and snap it back into its secured position.
- Run a test to see whether the jam is cleared using the ‘Resume’ button.
- If the carriage is still not able to move freely, press the button on top of the module to open the door.
- Carefully remove the jammed pieces of paper, along with any scraps of ripped paper that may still remain.
- Close the rear module door.
If none of the above has enabled you to remove the paper, you may have to move on to the last resort…
